Trainee DevOps Engineer

Must have

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: AWS core services (commercial projects, pet projects, learning labs – all applicable)
• Development and scripting experience: preferably JS/Python, bash/powershell
• Essential experience working with AI tooling and prompting to improve personal efficiency (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, etc)
• Experience with Linux administration, including system configuration, shell scripting, and troubleshooting
• Problem-solving skills
• High motivation and responsible attitude

Will be a plus

• AWS certification
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
• Familiarity with monitoring services like Prometheus/CloudWatch/Datadog/etc

Responsibilities

• Learn new things and adapt quickly
• Help troubleshoot and resolve deployment/applications/infrastructure issues
• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of our cloud infrastructure
• Support the deployment and operation of our internal and external services
